“Cultivating Loving Awareness” was developed with all your self-care and development needs in mind. This 2.5 hour workshop is jam packed with yoga, tasty plant based foods and proven mindfulness techniques to help you ground into a more balanced state of being.

This is an experience for WOMEN, made by WOMEN.

This workshop will assist you to:

  • Build self-validation and self-love, as part of  fundamental life skills.
  • Increase your self awareness with loving intention.
  • Focus on the present moment with gratitude.
  • Reconnect to yourself, while holding space for your holistic needs, so you can CULTIVATE LOVING AWARENESS.

“Self-loving mindfulness is a moment-to-moment intentional awareness of one’s experiences without judgment, avoidance or craving.

Workshop contents:

Discovering what self-love is:

  • This introduction session begins with diving into what do we love about ourselves in this moment.
  • Within this, we will set out gratitude’s which will support your journey moving forward. Gratitude’s you can come back to whenever needed. 
  • We will process what is meant  when we say “self-love”. While reflecting on the main pillars of self-love. Finding  integrative ways to process.

Restructuring our routines:

Get your journal out and ready for this one!! 

  • This intuitive routine restructuring will guide you to understanding how to create more sustainable balance within your everyday life. Ultimately creating more self-awareness.
  • Through space creation, we will invite gentle living, through conscious intention. Creating new opportunities for us to show up for ourselves. This is the kind of living that supports our deepest needs.

Mindfulness based yoga flow:

Yoga is a mindfulness based intervention (MBI). This wonderful holistic technique is something I offer to and include in all my client packages. It’s a perfect self-healing tool you can use at any time. Allowing you to tap into yourself, to mindfully be present and hold space for your emotional body.

This 40 min flow is for all and will include: (Mats are provided, but please feel free to bring your own)

  • Breath-work, to energize your being.
  • Yinyasa flow, to connect to your holistic self.
  • Mindfulness practices throughout to soothe the soul.

Self-love manifesto:

A manifesto is a declaration of your core values and beliefs, what you stand for, and how you intend to live your life. It functions both as a statement of principles and as a call to action.

This can act as :

  • A frame for your life.
  • A compass, pointing you toward what you’ve decided is your authentic life.
  • A mechanism for focusing your mind and reminding you of your priorities.
  • As a source of motivation.
  • As a behaviour modification system, so that you always act in accordance with your values, even during times of stress.
  • As inspiration to live your purpose more fully.
  • As a foundation upon which to build your life.
  • As a way to begin to bring a new life—or a new way of living—into existence.

Meet your facilitator:

My name is Demi-Gea Hart, developer and creator of Sunflower Healing. I am your Holistic Life & Wellness Coach, known as a Holistic Practitioner.

As your Holistic Life and Wellness Coach, I am able to help you function in a way that promotes mental, emotional and spiritual wellness.  This includes the mind, body, soul and external environment connections.

The methods I use:

I have always applied mindfulness as a base philosophy for the techniques and tools used.  I find it’s such a universal and inclusive language. Furthermore, this Mindfulness based approach uses mindset coaching, where you tap into your narrative and change what no longer serves you. Additionally, it also uses movement through the means of yoga. As well as intention setting through the means of meditation. After all, what the mind suppresses the body expresses, so its important to address both.

Its through this dual approach, when used and guided correctly of course. Can train our unconscious selves to come out of auto pilot and into a place of awareness, growth and ultimately, self-love.

Baobab Wholefood Café owned by Casey and Alastair, is a plant-based and health-focused café situated inside the WERK warehouse in the Lower Baakens Valley. The menu emphasizes unprocessed foods that are as close to their natural form as possible. They focus on seasonal fruit, vegetables, legumes, whole-grains, nuts and seeds. Their entire menu is vegan friendly, with gluten-free options available for most meals.
