You might think it has something to do with how your mind and body share a connection, which can impact your overall well-being. Or you might think it’s something very alternative that’s not for you.”
In this post, we’ll take a closer look at Holistic Life Coaching to understand what it is and if this is the journey for you.
What is health?
According to the World Health Organization (WHO, 2014), mental health is not just the absence of mental illness. Rather, it is defined as a state of well-being in which every individual realizes his or her own potential. Essentially, this means that one can cope with the normal stresses of life. All-while investigating healthy coping mechanisms. This then reflects on ones ability to work productively and fruitfully. Who in-turn, is able to make a contribution to his or her community along the way.
As a result of my Psychology studies and personal holistic coaching practices. I believe that we are a part of an intrinsically linked psycho-social system. Which is why I find the holistic wellness approach to be the most authentically inclusive way to tackle just about anything in life.
What does the Holistic approach mean ?
The holistic approach means to look at all the different systems in our lives and understand how they all work together. This is an integrative and awareness approach to your healing, growth and transformation journey. Often a path of objective truth for those seeking it out.
“I am aware of myself, but all I see are the things I’m “messing up”, does this mean I must be aware that I am a terrible person? Because the more I pay attention to these things, the worse it makes me feel… -Am i doing it right”??

As your Holistic Life and Wellness Coach, I am able to help you function in a way that promotes mental, emotional and spiritual wellness. This includes the mind, body, soul and external environment connections.
Why use Holistic health?
Holistic health is a field of study and philosophy that takes into account every part of a human being. It considers each piece to be essential because the connections between them can significantly affect your daily life. As a result, this approach plays a significant role in your professional and personal well-being.
The methods I use:
I have always applied mindfulness as a base philosophy for the techniques and tools used. I find it’s such a universal and inclusive language. Furthermore, this Mindfulness based approach uses mindset coaching, where you tap into your narrative and change what no longer serves you. Additionally, it also uses movement through the means of yoga. As well as intention setting through the means of meditation. After all, what the mind suppresses the body expresses, so its important to address both.
Its through this dual approach, when used and guided correctly of course. Can train our unconscious selves to come out of auto pilot and into a place of awareness, growth and ultimately, self-love.
Insight into my journey as a Holistic Life Coach:
My journey has taken daily conscious effort to bring to fruition. Naturally, this way of being has changed the way I live my life. Due to the fact that, I really had to ‘walk the walk’, before completely diving into coaching within this divine area of life. Undoubtedly, my own internal practice has developed, and as a result of this growth, I have been called to facilitate your journey just the same!
This foundation all started when I decided to study psychology. With great assistance from friends and family, I was fortunate enough to graduate with an honours degree. This was a life long dream and a critical step on this path. Consequently, I gained great insight, which changed my perspective on what holding space for someones journey really needs to look like.
Thereafter graduating, in 2019, I established myself in the holistic healing world and finally added life coaching, mindfulness, meditation and yoga to my skill set.
This is where my specialization in Mindfulness Based Interventions (MBIs) came from. A combination of Mentoring, Movement and Meditation. It is safe to say that, these services can greatly impact your life.
To rephrase, these academic skills, along with my own personal healing experiences have equipt me with the ability to help guide your own path to growth, self-development and ultimately, self-acceptance.

That is to say, one requires not only knowledge on the world of psychology and its connection with the body, but insight into ones self- awareness as well. This is due to the nature of our interconnected relationship with the world around us. In other words, our relationship with ourselves extends out to our relationship with others. Meaning, that the inner world reflects the outer world, and visa versa. This has been proven again and again throughout my journey. An essential and integral part of this process.
In conclusion, I feel that I have stepped into empowerment through my own journey. It has come with deep knowledge, along with gained universal peace within. It is an overflowing fountain. This fountain must be shared with anyone who is thirsty for healing, thirsty for peace and contentment in their lives.

My philosophy of Holistic Life Coaching, is that individuals have within themselves the knowledge for what is best for them and a strong desire to find a path towards that improved well-being.
As the coach I support/guide/mentor each person as they search for that inner knowledge. To reignite their motivation for self-development and growth. Where empathetic understanding and experiential learning is shared in a non-judgmental and supportive manner. Which places the focus on health and well-being, rather than on illness and disability.
Achieving balance is a life-long pursuit. It is something I practice daily myself. That’s why I facilitate the development of self-determination and the empowerment of clients to take an active role in their health and well-being.

Hello, I find that this work can be very time consuming but has alot of benefit to it. The layout and structure can take some time, but once templates are formulated it becomes more and more efficient to upload and create blog content.
