Sunflower Healing's yoga & Wellness journey:

Yoga is a mindfulness based intervention (MBI). This wonderful holistic technique is something I offer to and include in all my client packages. It’s a perfect self-healing tool you can use at any time. Allowing you to tap into yourself, to mindfully be present and hold space for your emotional body.

Now, if a whole coaching package isn’t for you, then here are my standard yoga classes.

The main focus with these classes is on mind-body awareness, as opposed to alignment details and the exact physical posture. It doesn’t matter what level you are at, nor if you can touch your toes, but rather its about what you learn on the way down.

The point is to cultivate mindfulness, using asana’s as the vehicle in which to do so. Bringing in mindful awareness to any physical activity creates an alert focus to whatever you are doing in that exact moment, thereby transforming the movement into a form of meditation.

This supports the nervous system, as we place emphasis on observing rather than reacting. – A process that directly supports our inner healing and growth mindsets. In this space we can dive deeper, allowing for an authentic human experience. A space where you are invited to come as you are.

Sunflower Healing flows in many different spaces. It is a wonderful way to build on your yoga networks and find more like-minded souls on this journey of self-embodiment and acceptance.

- Mindfulness in Movement, taps deeper into the holistic body. This 6 week program focuses on balancing both the mind and body though Yoga. To de-stress the mind and strengthen the body. Perfect for beginners and intermediate bodies.

Yoga, meditation and breathing practices will form the foundation of these classes. With each week focusing on different areas of the body and different facets of our thoughts. These practices are transformative and will increase your health and well-being on many levels. Here consistency is key, as this series will address physical, energetic, mental and emotional well-being.

* Use the google sheet booking system below for these class bookings. This will guide you through class and mat bookings. Making it easy for you to join us in for the best aligned flows for your needs. All you need to do is download the google sheets app, click the link below and you're all set.

Mondays & Fridays – Gentle flow 9:30-10:30AM

- Gentle flow, designed for everyone, regardless of age or physical condition. It is especially great for people with injuries, pain, mobility or health issues.

– Classes will be at my studio, see location below.

Thursday evenings, 6-7pm.

- The Pottery class, is free and is for the pottery members only. Here this social club has included wonderful community activities to help you embody a more present way of being.

Thursday evenings, 6-7pm – Gentle flow 9:30-10:30AM

All payments, cash or EFT’s, to be made before the class time and date. For last minute drop-in classes, please send your proof of payment or pay on the day before the class begins. This payment is an agreement that these classes are taken at your own risk. Sunflower Healing is not responsible for any damages, loss or injury that may unexpectedly occur during the class.
